Before you begin your adventure
Here’s everything you need to know about charging your RollAway Suite on Wheels.
EV Battery (Vehicle Battery)
This is the largest onboard battery system, powering the vehicle’s powertrain.
Suite Battery
The suite area counts with a 10kWh House Battery, which powers all the comforts of your Suite on Wheels.
EV Battery
EV Range
The RollAway EV provides an impressive 270+ miles of range (Estimated). EV Range could be impacted by multiple factors such as driving speeds, weather, terrain conditions and other considerations.
DC-Fast Charging
RollAway Vans support DC-Fast Charging at a 120Kw peak charging speed, providing up to 85 miles of range in just 30 minutes. Charging speeds may vary depending on the charger type and battery status.
The charging port for the EV Battery is located on the rear driver’s side of the vehicle.
Where to charge the EV?
To ensure you have the best on the road experience, we recommend using the Electrify America and Chargepoint networks for your re-charging stops along your journey. Using these networks, you will be able to initiate charging sessions smoothly through the Electrify America or Chargepoint apps that are already installed in the onboard iPad. This will allow you to seamlessly charge on the go and pay your recharging costs at check-out. Please be advised that while our EVs are not yet compatible with the Tesla Charging Network, we are working with our vehicle manufacturer to soon enable access for our guests.

Suite Battery
The suite area counts with a 10kWh House Battery, which powers all the comforts of your Suite on Wheels. Below some key information to know:
The Suite Battery counts with two recharging methods: Solar or Shore Power Hookup
Shore Power Hookup
The 30A Shore Power Hookup is the quickest way to recharge your suite. It fully charges the battery in about 3 hours. Performance may vary with appliance usage. You can connect at any campground offering 30A electric hookups.
Solar charging
Your Suite is equipped with 800W of solar power that can recharge the Suite Battery from 0-65% on a full sunny day. Recharging performance may vary depending on weather conditions and appliance usage.
